Bernedoodles are a cross between a Poodle and a Bernese Mountain Dog. At Orchard Valley, we breed first and foremost for health, longevity, and temperament, with beautiful markings being the final consideration. As a result, most of our puppies are multigenerational crosses.  We also offer Munchkins, which are a smaller companion size developed by crossing a Cavalier with a Bernedoodle.

We do our best to provide approximate adult weight ranges for each litter; however, genetics are complex and there are natural factors outside of our control. For this reason, adult size cannot be guaranteed, and no breeder can truly guarantee size. Additionally, size classifications vary widely among breeders.

Below is how we categorize sizes within our program and the current sizes we breed for:

Munchkin:

• Typically 10–25 lbs when fully grown

Bernedoodles:
• Micro: approximately 10–20 lbs
• Petite Mini: approximately 20–35 lbs
• Mini: approximately 30–55 lbs
• Medium: approximately 40–60 lbs
• Large: 60 lbs+

These ranges are estimates based on parent dogs and prior litters and are provided as guidance only.
